 PMDC Announces MDCAT Date for 2024: 

PMDC in a press release announced MDCAT 2024 Date. The test will be held on 22nd September 2024. However, stay with me as I will try to explain further what MDCAT is and how can you prepare for it. 

What is MDCAT?

MDCAT is a test organized by PMDC for admissions in the Govt. Medical Institutes throughout in all provinces of Pakistan. The test takes place each year and is only valid for one admission cycle. FSc pre-medical students are eligible for MDCAT.

Syllabus of MCAT 2018

Since the start of syllabus, MCAT has became much easier for students. Now you don't have to remember everything in your book. Instead topics of great importance mentioned in syllabus are enough for getting good marks.

As I told last year , the year before and even in 2012. There is very less chance of any changes in syllabus of MCAT. So Syllabus of MCAT 2018 would be quite similar to that of MCAT 2014.

Changes in Syllabus

As we already predicted correctly. No of questions are same as last year and most of the syllabus as well. The MCQ structure is also same as last year. I might be biased here but Entry Test Class covers the whole syllabus. So you can good practice from it.

A few weeks back Dawn News gave this news that in a meeting UHS officials have decided to take test at the end of August instead of September. let's see if this is possible or not

Nust Entry Test Date

According to Dawn News, while the date of  MCAT has not been announced yet , NUST has announced dats for Nust Entry test 2014.

So for those anxiously waiting for Nust Entry Test Date  here is the schedule

Registration Date : 

Registration for Nust Entry test will start on  9th May 2014 and will end on  15th June 2014.  So be sure you get yourself registered before 15th June. I will suggest all of you to take this test it will give you a lot practice and self confidence before appearing in MCAT.

Syllabus of MCAT 2014 is going to be very similar to last year's syllabus. The reason behind is that the curriculum for M.B.B.S remains the same. 

UHS tries to make syllabus according to M.B.B.S Books,  Mostly those topics are included in the syllabus which are relevant to the curriculum so therefore there is a very small chance of any change in syllabus.

UHS Merit List 2013

I was shocked to hear this , merit has ended on Muhammad Ali Nawaz with aggregate 86.1009.

Very lucky for Ali , he got a seat but not for thousands of other students who haven't. Why merit has gone so much up? as I always say, Test is getting easier and students are becoming
nerds, :) result is right in front of you.

In just two years merit has increased by 4.2%. May be it is a time students should start valuing other fields.
